Many of us have seen an odd-eyed cat or dog before, but do you know what it is really called and what can cause it to happen? It is technically called Heterochromia. Heterochromia is determined by the production/concentration of melanin (a pigment). It may be due to genetics, disease, or even injury. Thank you member @Sheofthrone3 for letting me use Opal Jean as our model this week. She’s a cutie!
