Fun Friday Cat Fact of the Day 8-16-19

The cartoon duo we now know as Tom and Jerry did not always have those names. In their first cartoon “Puss Gets the Boot,” the famous cat and mouse were named Jasper and Jinx. William Hanna and Joe Barbera didn't feel the original names “clicked,” so they tested names until one of them came up with Tom and Jerry.

I know many have picked names for their cats and ended up changing their name once they got them. Share in the comments your cat’s original name and what you now call them any why.

My kitty is Raphael. She was named after one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I haven't changed her name but always refer to her as "little kitty", "baby girl", or just "baby". She is so sweet! The staff at my vets office call her "Raffi". My mom (91 years old) can never remember her name so she quite often calls her "Gabriel ". Doesn't really matter what we call her, she doesn't come running when I call her anyway!
