It doesn’t matter what climate you live in, a Sphynx can grow fuzzy hair as part of their preparation for winter. If a sphynx is not spayed or neutered, hormonal changes can also result in hair growth. It can happen to any Sphynx at any time and at any age. Many breeders make mention of this in their contracts because there is no control of it. I have to say it gives a whole new meaning to the saying getting the “warm and fuzzies.” Let’s see your fuzzy babies in the comments.
Thank you to @Sheldon13 for allowing me to feature her heart cat Ellie as this week’s model. As a tribute I asked if I could share her sweet girl who crossed the Rainbow Bridge this week. Ellie made paw prints on many hearts in the Sphynxlair community. Fly high Ellie.

Purrrfect and beautiful. Thank you.

Max has a bit of a fuzzy face (I'll try and find a good pic for this).

Min is just so incredibly soft all over and yet you can't really see any fur -- it must be so very short.

Cleo is the Queen of the Fuzzies! She’s been rocking her fuzzies since she was about 2 years old. Older members may remember her bumfro, which would get really fuzzy in the winter, and be almost gone in the summers.
