That’s a loaded question. A PCR test is needed if you suspect an upper respiratory infection. A heart echo is highly advised on an annual basis. For the most part, any other tests are based on the individual cat and what symptoms they may have.

Full genetic profiling should be done including HCM scans and DNA testing for breeding cats. The latter should be done for all cats.

I think you meant the former? It’s the HCM test you want to get. Genetic testing only for breeding cats.
