We are getting ready to move back into my Dad's house temporarily in order to save money to buy our own house, as opposed to renting. We've had our one year old sphynx Dexter for almost a year now, and this whole time he has had our apt all to himself. Well when we move back to my Dad's he has a furry cat named Bagheera. Who luckily has lived with other cats, and they were both dominant over him..

At my Dad's we will have a room where Dexter will have as his own (I'll keep his litter box, food/water and bed) but it will be a downsize for sure.. and Bagheera is also an indoor/outdoor cat. They have a cat door installed in the kitchen. Fortunately we only plan to stay there for about 6 months..

I have been researching best ways to introduce two cats, and how to help your cat adjust to a move. I am just reaching out to you guys here for any advice, maybe you have had experience with this. Anything would be much appreciated.

Hope all goes smoothly, a few things to mention. Is there any way even remotely possible, even accidentally that your kitty can get to the indoor/ outdoor system in the kitchen? Sphynx can not make it very long outdoors as other cats. That would be my first concern. The other concern is if your sphynx is exposed to an outdoor cat even for a moment and a fight occurs and he is bitten or scratched, he can be susceptible to disease that he may not be vaccinated for due to him being an indoor cat. I hate to bring news like this - but just concerned. Good luck with the move!
