Good and Bad news Vallejo CFA show

Cleo got 2nd Best Shorthair in her first ring then acted crazy so I had to pull her.
She only was in 3 rings.
Wrinkles got two 2nd best shorthair in 2 rings and 4 best of breeds.
Cleo will not forget about that cat that hurt her in the ring a year ago.
The vanilla has no effect on her.
The worse thing is a judge said she is a great show cat but she hates showing.

as for Cleo hating the show life.. ive heard this so many times in the dog show world. it's totally true. good show dogs, are dogs that love the show, love the attention.... dogs that hate it, are terrors.

Congrats on the wins! I feel bad for you and poor Cleo. She is such a beautiful cat and a doll outside the ring! It is a shame that cat had to have a lasting effect on her.

I'm sorry to hear that Cleo still isn't loving the show life. She's a beautiful girl. And your Wrinkles in really gorgeous, I love her markings. Congratulations on the other good results though!

I gave Cleo a year off and I thought maybe it would help and I tried the vanilla.
We think another problem is the smell of the whole males.
My friend who is a Aby breeder put Cleo near her whole male and she became way worse after that.
Wrinkles my Seal Tortie and White has never acted bad a show.
In fact sometimes she sucks up to judges.
It is the Torties that are know for bad attitude.

Cleo is a very good show cat but her attitude is bad.
The thing is she is a very nice cat and she loves people.
Sphynxie when you start showing I will have Cleo at the shows as exhibition.
Wrinkles breeder will be excited when you show Nudie.
She was so happy Wrinkles made 2 finals yesterday.
What color is Nudie.

That's a good question. She is basically white with some black spots.

My Wrinkles changed is a bi-color in CFA even though she is pointed.
I think your cat will be considered a bi color also.
CFA is strange with colors sometimes.
I had trouble with Wrinkles and had to redo her reg because she was Seal and White and turned into a Seal Tortie and White.
I think Nudie will stay the color she is.

Lately she has some slight tortie coloring on her head right before her ears and a little by her mouth. I think she'll end up looking a little like her mom Tiara.

Congratulations to Wrinkles and Cleo for their wins. Cleo doesn't sound like she enjoyed herself. That's ok, not all kitties don't like the show life. I only showed Tanker once because he glared and growled at anyone who made eye contact with him. Ironically he was the biggest love bug at home. Cleo sounds like she would rather soak up attention as a Sphynx breed ambassador instead.
