First thing in the morning after he's fed. About 830a.m .. I usually play with my for a good 30 mins. But he's constantly following me around after, meowing to play more. Then when I get home from work same thing constantly. I've tried the automatic laser... The bird in the cage toy. He just really likes social activities and I don't have the time to constantly play when he needs me to. Any suggestions? I've thought about getting another kitty but I don't want to if they're is another way I can keep home occupied and still feel very loved.

How old is he? It took nearly two years for my boy to calm down. He too used to follow me around like crazy even when I had two cats. Automatic toys are always an option, the "cats Meow," is on amazon and my boy loves it. However, He also has the smarts enough to pester me for attention in a go at manipulation. It sounds like your boy either has some separation anxiety or he is becoming a little master manipulator. In either case, Play with him, but when play time is done, play time is done. Leave plenty of toys around when you go to work, and if you do work at home, set up a place for him. I am a student so I must study for long periods of time. My kitten would pester me CONSTANTLY until I set up a little bed for her next to my computer, just a throw blanket on my desk. It is her spot and she still feels involved without pestering. small boxes with soft blankets work also. It keeps her off my keyboard and allows me to actually get some work done!
But if your boy is still a kitten, he could grow out of it. Do not let him learn to manipulate you into giving into him or the behavior wont go away. Let him be with you whenever you are home, but give him a space that is his and let him feel involved.
Best of luck!

Best advice ever . Thanks so much. Yes he was born Aug 23rd so he's still a little guy. He's super spoiled and I know he manipulates a bit for sure!!!When it's time for me to go to work he meows and follows me to the door like, you bringing me??

I totally get it! My Rora was born on August 11th and she is absolutely psychotic. When I have to go to class I often have to distract with her morning meal and run so she doesn't chase me out the door. But your boy is still quite young and super hyperactive, all part of the kitten charm. He will slow eventually, but enjoy this time, you will miss it when its gone!
I've attached a picture of my workstation, which keeps my savage at bay.

@Catstuff great advice already given by @Cinderstar95. My boy Ross, 2 years old, is also a bit demanding about me having time for him. He has a brother and sister to play with but he still wants me. I noticed that he's okay when I talk to him or cuddle with him. With my boy it's not necessary about playing but about letting him now I see and hear him. Maybe this works for your boy too?

I also team to their spot , blankie or bed with treats

I see some members kitties loved a small covered fish tank
They make "fake" fish tanks too
