A few weeks ago while still all broody waiting for Mitsou's gotcha day, I bought a pet stroller from eBay. My plan is to use the stroller to walk my two Sphynxies and possibly Victor (if he fits). To get them used to it, I leave the stroller open with brakes on in my living room. They've all taken turns napping in there. By shutting Mitsou inside the stroller, I've also learned that it's very easy to get out of! She took about 5 seconds to find an opening...
I think the stroller wasn't made to confine them in the first place. It contains a loop to attach leashes to. So now I'm shopping for Sphynx-friendly cat harnesses. I have a couple of small nylon strap harnesses, but experience with my dogs has shown me that those plastic clips pinch and hurt the skin, and also create painful pressure points,
So, two questions: what kind of harness is best for Sphynx (or what to look for in a harness)? And, does anyone have any tips, tricks or "what to expect" when I get these guys used to being harnessed and walked outside in a stroller?
So far the best harness I've found is called a "Kitty Holster". Has anyone here ever tried this one?
