I could not remember which thread we were chatting in and how it came about me expressing my only concern was all my windows have mosquito screens on but they slide and living on the 17th floor with no balcony but a dead drop was my biggest fear.
Some genius Sphynxguru suggested child proofing the screens. I had never ever thought of that. So the next day I got them done I am so sorrry I would love to thank you personally. But I can’t find the thread.
My little man loves the open windows and breeze that blows through my apartment now

Child proofing slide windows and screens. I got these and are really very cheap. They come in all colors. Mine are white I translated it from Chinese I am sure your local hardware store stocks them. Being magnetic they do not slide

Luckily all windows are made and manufactured with a screen. So it is not an extra fitting. Their are 3 window tracks in the frame for sliding. Which is a nightmare to clean. They are totally safe and secure in the frames. I too worried about that and got the window guy in who showed me how safe it was when he put the childproofing locks on.
But having a Murphy gene in my DNA I will always expect the unexpected. I only open this window when I am in bed. I do close it when I leave. To keep my room dust free

Bless you I can post pictures all day every day. That is with the ones I have . He loves his backpack as he knows we’re going on an outing.Another one of him feeling snotty for himself if I look at another cat. He is a big hit in my neighbourhood when we go for a walk
