Hello All!

I am new to being owned by a Sphynx. Gable made us his forever family in December. We couldn't be happier! He is a wonderful addition to our family. In fact, we are looking to bring him home a friend (as soon as we can find one looking for a family), as one Sphynx is just not enough.

I am completely in love with this cat! He is my 10 year old son's best buddy and my 16 year old daughter's nemesis (all in play though, he loves to stalk her and pounce). Even my husband, who said he doesn't like cats, can be found carrying around or napping with his hairless friend at any given moment.

There is nothing like coming home after a particularly stressful day at the office to the "welcome home meows" and the warm cuddles of my Gable to make me smile!

Gable and I are glad we found Sphynx Lair!!!!!

Welcome to the kindest place I know. The people here are wonderfully giving, helpful and have a lot of knowledge. It's great to share our joys and sometimes our sadnesses in such a wonderful forum as this. I also love Gable's name and am looking forward to getting to know you better.

My Gable just turned 3 in March. He was 2 when I got him last December. I had been wanting a Sphynx for years and my husband suggested I get one for Christmas. A lady was looking for a forever home for Gable due to family circumstances and after a couple of days of her and I exchanging email and phone calls, off I went for the hour drive for my "interview" and I came home with our new guy.

Now we are looking to add another Sphynx to the family. I am hoping to find another in the area that needs a forever family. I can't wait to see Gable and a new friend playing, cuddling and making themselves the center of attention!

Welcome fellow Canadian. This is a great place for info and great people. He is very beautiful, you must post some pics on your page. One is not enough that is for sure. I have two I got in September and I am totally sold on these guys.
