Hi - I'd like to introduce Cueball, my Sphynx kitty:

Cueball's nine years old, a neutered cream mink with lovely pale lime-green eyes, from Belfry Cattery. He's looking a bit frail these days because he's had a downhill slide the past several months from what we've finally had diagnosed as inflammatory bowel disease plus a thymoma, a tumor of the thymus gland. The tumor is most likely benign, it's encapsulated, and poor Cueball isn't at his best for surgery, so we're leaving it alone for now.
Cueball's on metronidazole, cobalamine (vitamin b-12), and prenisolone, and he's regained condition since this photo but not a lot of weight. He's got a great appetite though and we're working on it! In fact, the main thing I have to watch out for, is not to give him too much at once, since his tummy can only hold so much. Meantime, I take heart in the return of his energy (today he played an epic game of chase-me with our youngest cat, a fuzzy black guttersnipe named P'Gell) and condition - his skin these days is as soft as a baby's butt!
I ran into a mention of this forum on Twitter today, and thought I'd join - I always like to read about everyone's Sphynxes
