Hello, everyone!

I live in NC, and I have 2 chinese cresteds and a chihuahua. I am also a foster home for hairless dogs, and I have 2 foster cresteds at home.

My only cat currently is a persian rescue cat. Her name is Jasmine.

My love of hairless dogs has really peaked my interested in sphynx. I'm here to learn more about them.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

I want a Chinese Crested also but have to get my husband to say yes.
Two of my sphynx come from North Carolina.
You should go to a show and see the sphynx.

There is a show that goes on about an hour away, and I do plan to go next time it's on. Sounds like it would be fun.

Great pics! They are so cute! How are they with other larger breeds? Also I have been told that they are very hard to potty train? Is that true?

Welcome to Sphynx Lair! Other than being a huge Sphynx admirer, Persians were my first love! My Persian baby passed away 2 years ago as of this coming September 27th. And I miss him so much.....Still, everyday I think about him and miss him with my whole heart. He truly was the best cat that I have ever owned. Oh....now I am going on my little Persian story.....but, I'm sure without a doubt, that the Sphynx breed will steal your heart as well! Your Cresteds are cute too, but can you also share a picture of Jasmine?!

Cresteds tend to do well with larger dogs. I know many people who have weims, standard xolos, standard poodles, and boxers as well as cresties. They all get along. I'm also considering a larger breed at some point.

I've not had alot of trouble with potty-training. They do need alot of consistency. I would say by a year Chloe had it down-pat. River is right on a year, and he's trustworthy. They do need frequent outings for their little bladders. My fosters are still in training, but coming from a hoarding situation, most things are pretty new to them.

Lady Jazz will be very pleased to know that someone wanted her picture. She was pulled from a kill shelter at 6 yrs old and was due to be euthed the next day. Rescue pulled her, and then I met her. She's been mine for about a year and a half. She LOVES water. I got her a drinkwell fountain b/c she always wanted me to turn on the bathtub so she could swat and drink the water.

She is in a lion cut for the summer.

Aaawww, Jasmine is gorgeous! My Persian used to love Lion Cuts. He would be so happy everytime he got one, because then he could really feel all of the cuddles and love!
