Help! Curious yellowish patches on Sphynx.

These patches appeared on my 11 month old male overnight. They are rough like a scab but not colored like one.

No changes in his diet, environment, or shampoos.

He is eating and drinking normal and is energetic and seems healthy other than the patches.

He has a vet appointment in a few weeks, but I’m just curious on what all of you think.

I've never seen that but maybe someone else has. However, since he's going in for an appt anyway, could you just move it up so the vet can see it sooner?

There are many things that live on the skin and usually they don't do anything but if there's a little cut they can find their way inside and cause an infection. For example staph bacteria. I found this out when one of mine got a staph infection and I was like "I have no idea where they picked it up" and the vet told me it just lives on the skin and if they scratch themselves too hard....well anyway. The good news is with sphynx we tend to catch things on them early because their skin is exposed.

hugs n positive vibes. can you email pics to vet and ask to get in sooner? get on their cancelation list or do a drop off (my vet offers to squeeze in between appointments and then calls me to discuss diagnosis/options).
try to think of anything possible ( even touched hot item like hot hair products curling irons, etc). any other pets that are indoor/outdoor, does he go out?
