That's an amazing idea, to send my vet pictures. If he's not up for that I'll be taking sage in. Just was hoping this was just some mild irritation that could be identified. Thank you!

I bought Sage and his brother Salem about 2 months ago. They are 4.5 months old currently. Sage is the only one with scabs only on his right leg. After putting on coconut oil and some special natural remedy spray i bought yesterday the spots are diminishing already. Now that i think back, this popped up after using bath wipes on their skin so im thinking it might be an allergic reaction, those wipes are getting tossed!
I appreciate your quick replies, so nice to have a sense of community! I'm a nursing student but cats are different from people so this has been nerve racking! I'm waiting for a call back from my vet now!

@BBcream , let us know what vet says. sharing, many of us keep vetericyn spray on hand, I like it is non toxic.
also, coconut oil can clog pores . I stopped using it awhile ago.
For nearly a decade, (vet got me hooked on it to clean out ears, I dont flush ears)
I use trizultra w/keto on cotton swissper pads for in between spa day wipe down , bellies, legs, armpits, necks, chins. really gets the brown sphynx grime off. * I don't use trizultra on face. I do use trizultra for earcleaning, wetting swissper round cotton pads and qtips., and wipes around nail beds.
many of us use hylyt shampoo. my vet sells and sometimes find online.
many of us keep on hand waterwipes. do you have an updated pic? any new areas of scabbing on Sage? keep checking on brother Salem too. could have been the wipe ingredients (not to alarm but something to keep in mind... any circular skin scabbing I always ask vet to rule out any possibility of ringworm for peace of mind.) not saying that is what it is at all but something to be aware of . we have seen a few kitties here with RW out of nowhere newly homed babies.

happiest Sage and Salem gotcha. look forward to updates and lots of pics and tales of your sweet babies... what is there silliest habit? favorite toys? all paws are family. so cool you have siblings! I adopted batman and yoda siblings years ago and they were a hoot together.

I was also worried about RW after scouring the internet. Thank goodness its not that. The vet says it looks like mild skin irritation or an allergic reaction and to monitor it for worsening signs/symptoms.
I love the names Batman and Yoda!
I bought them after struggling to keep my anxiety in check during school and they have been an absolute blessing and joy. Better than any pill on the market.
Salem is my fearsome adventurer. If he hears a door open he is there in .2 seconds to investigate. Sage is my cuddle bug who was born with a fine layer of fur. According to the breeder, her 4yr old son and sage were best friends and he would carry him around everywhere and sage loved it which I found surprising at the time but understand now.
There favorite toy has to be eachother. No matter what toys I bring home they always end up rolling around on the floor with eachother. So blessed I was able to find 2.
The updated picture of his skin looks worse now but only because my pictures yesterday were taken in such high exposure.

I swear these little monkeys can lift my mood by leaps and bounds with their silly antics.. cat monkey baby dog all in one.
mine are lightening fast by doors... I make sure microchip contact info is up to date.
I trained mine like a dog to a meet n greet spot/chair. I still open doors super slow and my foot at the bottom as I enter.
I have to watch mine like a hawk with the washer and dryer too. always have to triple check they didnt quickly sneek in there.
and lets not get started with the toilet paper.. lol I had to move it to a little wicker box bcz my brats was unrolling and chomping on.
I do bring home a paper bag from the food store, roll back the edges and they have fun then can toss it. so many toys in a basket and simple box or paper bag a favorite.
