Help! Wondering if this is ringworm

Hey all! Hazel has been licking away at this area on her leg for the last week and a half. The vet is coming on the weekend but I worry that it’s ringworm. The area is quite dry and when she licks it the wounds become more red. Could it be an allergy? Thanks!

It does not look like typical ringworm to me. Glad your vet is coming…my guess is an allergy.

This is great to have on hand for many skin issues ne not toxic if ingested. Has anything changed…new clothes, new detergent etc? @MeggyandHazel Is it only in that one area?

glad you have a vet coming to check, wish my vet did home visits, so much less stress , keep us updated.

check rest of her body, underarms, belly for any other areas? the vetericyn shared above is kept on hand by many of us. I like it is non toxic.

Hey! Thanks for your responses! I have been trying Vetericyn but it hasn't been doing too much unfortunately. The vet today recommended me steroid cream so I'm hoping that works! I haven't changed anything in the house but annoyingly my flatmates have been burning scented candles--and she seems to be itchy all over now.

@MeggyandHazel , gald you talked with your vet. keep an eye out if she licks the area after cream applied. what cream did vet prescribe? some use a soft collar cone (little flower cone can get on amazon)

can you ask flatmates to stop burning the scented candles and see if it helps?
