Hello and welcome. Kenny is a little beauty, you must be so excited about adding him to your family. This is a great site for help and support. I did feed mine royal canin kitten foods but transitioned slowly from what the breeder was feeding, which was a raw diet .Although I was planning to keep them on the the supplier at the time was a long way from where we live. I use Aveeno baby wash with oatmeal which has proved fine and didn't dry out their skin although some of the other bathing solutions other members recommend don't appear to be easily available here in the UK. Id recommend lots of warm soft blankets and toys too. Sphynx can be very active and curious and like to be entertained ! Wishing you all the best for the future

@Shellzbigmama , Welcoming your family to the lair family! so excited for you and adorable Kenny. keep us updated on your gotcha day. I joined here with my first sphynx and never looked back. A family of soo much care and support on the journey.
Always recommend a wellness check appointment before introductions. (take a fresh stool sample to check). many breeders have a clause in contract for a wellness check within a certain time frame.
I always recommend setting up a kitty safe room (litter box, food, etc). I always do with slow introductions to my furbabies and pups. we can offer tips.

many feed Royal Canin, (breeders often do, as there is a program for breeders and RC). I personally don't do raw, feeding wet and dry. My oldest is nearing 15 yrs old. I always ask breeder what kitty is eating and use the same litter, type of litter box style and later transiition if I chose too. I tend to feed what works and no drastic food changes, its a slow food transition process for their tummies.

definitely kitty proof home, plants, even cat toys, cat trees. ( I remove any hanging balls on cat trees as a member shared one baby getting tail wrapped on it and stuck hanging by the tail. ). don't use essential oil diffusers etc. they can be toxic to pets. I swear they are cat, dog, monkey, baby all in one adorable nakid bundle.

They are heat seekers and lightening fast underfoot. I constantly have to open exterior doors very slowly and walk out backwards to make sure kitty not bolting. you can train to a meet and greet spot. ** watch hot stove tops, ovens, washer and dryers. always double check washer and dryer before turning on. I have to put mine up in the bedroom if I use the stove top or oven to prevent jumping up or in and getting burned.

there is great information in the info center. never hesitate to ask questions, all paws are family.

members in your area can chime in about ear cleaning and shampoo brands. my first sphynx breeder used johnson and johnson baby wash. I learned it has a different ph than our sphynx's skin so switched shampoos.

so glad you joined us! looking forward to lots of pics and tales of adorable Kenny.
agree with lots of blankets. mine love those small fleece blankets on my bed and couch to snuggle in.
