YAY! I'm so glad to hear Tosca is accepting the babies!! They sound like adorable little bundles of fuzz! Tempest is a pretty girl too, how nice to have such lovely pets

This morning the babies took over Tosca's favorite chair and blanket. I am holding my breath hoping Tosca wont have a fit. She is in fact sniffing them with very little hissing. I hope this means that she will come to accept them. After a bit of lip lifting Tosca has ignored them and taken herself to her porch refuge. I am thinking patience is the key here.

Tosca hasn't fallen off eating. I don't think anything would put her off her food. The problem is the kittens love to eat her weight control diet. Theirs is much higher in fat and protein, but soon as they see her food they run over, risking her hisses, to nibble. Tosca has to have her own litter box. She refuses to share the kittens. I don't mind, but that is more daily pick up and rake out. But they are worth it.
Ciel has turned into the most loving, purring, hold me kind of kitten. She gets between me and the lap top as if to say I need my hands on her, not the rival.
Cadeau is such a lively little dude. He takes little time for holding and loving until he has worn himself out, then he wants the lap all to himself. Night time is cuddle time with his sister. I love getting up in the morning to the trilling of cat purrs and meowy greetings.

Cadeau close up. He looks a lot older than he is.. must be all the wrinkles.

Isn't it funny how the Sphynx almost always manage to look perturbed when having their pictures taken...My friends are always saying they look mean, and I have to tell themit's just how they look, not at all their personality!:LOL:

Ceil enjoys a beam of sunlight on her porch, she is wearing her new Pretty Kitty purple sweater. These are lovely and well made, the best I have found so far. I hope my kitties can wear them for a long time.

I am so happy. This morning Tosca was sharing the screened in porch with the kittens. She was sitting quietly near them, while all three soaked up the morning sun. No hissing, no spitting, no growling. I am so glad I decided to allow her the time to see if she would accept kittens. After I posted here that I was planning on getting another cat I received an email from the person who connected me to adopting Tosca that filled me with anxiety that Tosca would never accept another cat near her. Frankly I think these kittens were the best thing I could have done (other than adopting Tosca) for her. She is more active then ever, which is a really good thing considering her weight. She still sits on her person, Richard, every night while allowing me to hold the kittens on the same couch. Last night even the chihuahua joined us on the couch:LOL:. I think we now have a cohesive family again.

Well, I think I am going to throw my hat in the ring and try out showing my kitties. I bought second hand cage curtains that arrived today. They are lovely and in wonderful condition. Simple design of dark blue with tiny white stars. I am going to trim them out with patriotic red white and blue ribbons and rosettes. I thought that it would suit the theme of the June show in Fort Worth Texas while complimenting my kitties pale coloring. I am going to try to learn all I can and have a good time.

Tosca is doing wonderfully with the new babies. She is getting around a lot more than when she first came to live here. I believe she is losing weight. Of course its a little hard to tell, but Richard and I both think she is shrinking... She is still eating, of course, and now she has taken over the kittens heated bed. I found her sleeping butt to butt with them. What a turn around.
