hey Guys !
My sweetheart Honesty is in heat today, that means we'll try to marry her with Tayler.
Her first (alive) litter was born in august last year, she gave us a blue tabby girl (Dear Blubell Girl) and a lilac tabby and white mink boy (Darling I Love You).
As you see, it was the year of the D for french pets.
:BigSmile:

Her last HCM scan was made by a very wellknown french specialist, (professor Valerie Chetboul) and she said she will keep the results of the scan for her students, because the graphs are perfects.
She has a new machine, an experimental one for feline HCM studies. It is a traditional scan + it calculates and create a graph of the heart muscle contractions and movements. (elasticity, amplitude, relaxation and so on)
Honesty's heart is perfect ! The best graph she ever saw !

As her heart is perfect I want to keep this blood line, so I decide to ask my Honesty to give me a new litter with a girl in it. The blood lines of both parents are pretty good too.

However...You have to know that Honesty is tiny and fragile. And I already had problems with her health during pregnancy.
:Sweat::Cry:

I hope she will keep a strong health during this pregnancy, and after, and hope she will give me a marvellous little girl !

If ok I will neuter her. She is 3 years old only.
It is enough for her...
My litlle sweet heart is not built for breeding!

:Sad:

Do you ever heard about a product named nutridrops ?
I gave it to her during pregnancy last year and she was great...no problem untill birth (2 babies).
Problems came after birth, anorexia and dehydration. 2 weeks after birth.
I had stopped nutridrops just after birth...perhaps I should have continue...

this time I will continue.

Her first pregnancy (6 babies) didn't went to the end because she became anorexic and dehydrated during the pregnancy. She lost all her babies, they were born before the right time.
:Cry::Cry::Cry:

I will keep you posted on this topic.
You will follow the adventure...Cross the finger with me for her !

Good luck! It can't hurt to keep up the nutridrops. Make sure if she starts showing signs of anorexia or lethargy that she is promptly taken to a vet. Many times early labor can be delayed but I do agree that if this continues to be a problem, I'd make this her last attempt at motherhood.

Yes for sure! I will follow her with great attention, and go to the vet at any sign !
that's what I done last time...I was so anxious she will not go to the end !
But unfortunately, as everything was ok with pregnancy and birth I didn't imagine at that time she will go down 2 weeks after birth...
So I paid attention to her and her babies but not enough...:Sweat:

This time I will follow her with great attention before and after birth...
She does not support to be alone, she has to stay with the other females, so it's impossible to see if she eats correctely everyday...:Woo:

Athena's x-ray is on Friday so we will find out then she seems much bigger this time than the last. I just hope I am not too early for the x-ray it has to be at least 45 days, I think I am pretty on target this time.

Just a word to keep you up to date...

Honesty is very very tender now, she is allways on me, like a glue...like a part of me, jumping in my arms as soon as I sit down...lying and purring for good.:Adore:

I believe hair is growing on her hips...

All this could be a sign...

I hope....I believe....I cross finger and toes and everything...:Hysterical:

I will be sure around july, 3 if she is pregnant or not.

For those who don't know this trick, nipples become pink around 23 days if the female is pregnant.
