How often does your sphynx poop?

My boy Roswell has been eating Nulo Medalseries Cat & Kitten pretty much since I brought him home. He does well on it and his poops are nice and normal, but he poops multiple times a day and it is excessivley stinky. Like, really, really bad. My other cat is a DSH and poopa once or twice a day at absolute most. But Roswell is easily pooping 3 to 4 times a day!
He has been cleared of any intestinal parasites and also had a fecal pcr test that came back negative for all 9 things that it tested for. Also, this has been an ongoing issue - the stench and the frequency are not a sudden thing, he has always been this way. Do sphynxes just poop more than other cats?

Welcome to sphynx Mommyhood LOL! Sphynx have a very fast metabolism...so they do poop more often! :banghead:

3 or 4 stinky bombs a day are no fun!
My 3 sphynx all poop twice a day. My girl used to poop 3-4 times a days too. But since she's on grain free kibbles it's 2 times and less stinky.

Raw food makes the poop smell less too. And they'll poop only 1-2 times a day. My boys used to eat raw food and their poop hardly smelled. But since my girl doesn't eat raw I switch to grain free kibbles.

If you want to try switching food be careful cause switching food can cause diarrhea!

@AlysonK , I swear I have never had a breed poop so much! I scoop 3 times a day
I truly believe it's a sphynx thing
the last poo patrol is right before bed .
I swear they sleep in my bed all night but by morning the little stinkers were at it again overnight
But when I wake up they are sound asleep with me

When Cleo came home we had her on the same food the breeder used and wow what an odor. When we switched Cleo to raw (Stella and Chewy's) the odor abated quite a bit but she quit eating it so back to stinky poo and an increase from once or twice a day to three or more.

My sphynx poop a lot. I feed them Hollistic Grain Free and it's not too stinky.

Mine is raw fed and poops once a day like clockwork right around 3 o’clock.
