Hit my elbow so hard on a door frame earlier i thought i was going to be sick! :Badly: Turns out I dislocated it! Luckily it's gone back in but maaaaaan does it hurt! And it keeps making horrible crunchy noises :Badly::Badly::Badly:

Sorry to post this but i needed to share!

um... crunchy noises from a dislocated joint isn't a good sign...

I hope you got a chance to go to a doc -- it's possible the crunchy noises are bone fragments -- which do something kinda like sand in bearings.

Wish you the best, and speedy recovery

Wow that is supposed to be one of the worst pains, I see kids with it all the time at work and yes crunchy noises sounds like something is still wrong the pain should also stop very soon after the elbow is back in. Sorry girl I would say see a doctor:Cry:

Get to A&E if you can't get an appointment with your GP. NHSDirect will just tell you to go to the doctors. It's 6am there so hopefully you'll log in when you wake up.
I know A&E can be a bit of a nightmare with waiting but you should definately get it looked out.

Winced when I read your post, elbows are not a good place to hurt, ouch!!!

Thank you so much everyone!

Went to hospital...no bone fragments (phew!) it popped back when I did it but it stretched the tendon/ligament thingies and that's what the clicking is...no more crunching just clicking!! So lots of ice packs at the mo....it's definitely feeling better today just a bit tender, stiff and sore.

My poor long suffering boyfriend has now decided to make me a bubble wrap suit so I stop hurting myself!!
