“Stripeâ€

Stripe was helped to the Bridge at 12:20 am Sept 27th 2000 from a massive stroke and blood clot.

My little girl my warrior cat you fought so hard to stay;
...The months went by and you endured and everyday I prayed
That you would win and be with me for just another day.
Your spirit was so very strong your love for me your strength.

So many times they told me that we were at the end
And then you'd rally one more time my darling girl, my friend.
Your body grew so tired so weak so worn and thin
Then came the day to fight no more and finally you knew
That now the time had come to part and free your spirit flew.

Run free my little warrior my precious little Stripe.
The time for you to battle is finally at an end.
You're sleek and strong and well again your long dark night is done.
Go play with all the angels and bask in the bright sun.

We'll meet again at Heaven's Gate and never then will part.
Until that day my precious warrior I'll keep you in my heart.

~Jacky

Thanks,
I will tell you her story.
She was a feral that we saved and I tamed.
At 4 years old she had a breast removed and alot of tissue because there was cancer cells in it.
She beat the cancer then got ARF in 1998 and was saved by the er vet.
She had many blood transfusions and was saved.
Then in 1999 I found out she had CRF the vet gave her a year and he was correct.
I loved her alot and she was my fav cat then.

Such a beautiful poem. I lost my beautiful persian boy on the 27th of September as well  He has been passed away two years ago as of today....I miss him so much. He was the love of our lives. Gorgeous and beautiful in every single way. May Stripe and my Merl be up in the Rainbow bridge, loving and playing with each other. Much love baby! Forever and for always, we love and miss you...

I lost my abbysinnian, Bosani in September. He was the cat that all men loved. Exotic, sleek and loved to hunt. He walked with determination and always held his tail straight up with a little curl forward at the tip. Almost like a scorpion. He hung around in spirit after his death. I know I will meet him in the afterlife.:Smile:

I'm sorry to hear about Stripe and the illness that she suffered from. CRF in cats sounds as bad as HCM. Stripe seemed like a pretty cool cat despite her illness.
