Well, at least it's summer.

This is just a shot in the dark but maybe throw in the freezer for a couple of hours. When I used to play baseball putting my cap in the freezer would help a little bit. Granted it didn't help very much, but it did help.

Believe it or not.. to clean the smell out of my Renaissance costumes I use vodka. I bet it might work with cat urine.

You know what? I remember seeing an episode of Mythbusters where they tested the myth that vodka "gets the smell out". If I remember correctly, it worked. In fact, it worked better than most of the odor eliminating products. I just hope the alcohol smell comes out. Otherwise you might get targeted by child protective services next time your little girl goes to school in her Uggs. hehe

On the same episode of Mythbusters they put cinnamon in vodka and let it sit for a couple of weeks and used it as mouthwash. Makes me want to vomit.

Vodka doesn't smell Mike so there should be no alcohol smell. Vodka is my fave,,,passes for water in a water bottle too!! lol

lol Im with Mike. Ive seen the episode. And i dont think id want to swish with cinnamon anything!

And old school cleaners work wonders! Try the vinegar first because if they are suede , thats how leather cleaning professionals use sometimes. I use vinegar and a microfiber towel to clean my expensive sneakers that are real leather.

Im also wondering if you could put it iin one of those expensive maytag washers that steams clothes...

I've heard about vodka neutralizing odors before but I never wanted to waste good vodka to try it. Vinegar is cheaper but it leaves its own smell. Let us know what happens. Luckily the weather will be too warm for uggs the next few a few months.

After not posting for a while I stumbled on this post...I'm so intrigued. Please, please, please let us know if the vodka works. I've never thought of using it for cat pee. A good ****tail sure but never pee.

The absolute best smell remover is a product called......NATURE'S MIRACLE.

It is not only an odor remover but a stain remover too. Safe on fabrics, carpets, removing all organic stains including smoke, perspiration, grass, grease, dirt, food, blood, vomit, urine, and feces. This even works on old, set-in stains and odors including old plastic cat boxes.

This is the only product that is effective at our dog club. We can now bring in females in heat and run thru the complete obedience trail. If she leaves spots, we just hit it with Nature's Miracle, and then we can immediately bring in intact males, and they show no interest in any areas that the female just marked. Now that is a working product!!

It is safe to use around children and pets and is guaranteed or your money back. No perfume cover-up smell either. I always keep this stuff on hand and it goes to every dog show with me, but be sure to tape the cap closed when traveling. You will not be disappointed in this product.

It is a product of Pets 'N People, Inc. a subsidiary of 8 in 1 Pet Products, 2100 Pacific Street, Hauppauge, NY. 11788
or call 877-880-8855
or just Goooogle it.

Save the vodka for the winner's celebration!
