I have been showing Cleo and she is doing good but she now is not nice to the judges.
It looks like I will not be able to show her anymore.
I have no idea why she is acting this way.
She did get 2 best of breeds yesterday and Best Shorthair Premeir and 2nd Best All Breed Premier.
I will be showing Wrinkels in 2 weeks but have already been told Cleo is way better quality.
Cleo only has hair on her ears and nose and is pretty bald.
Wrinkles tail is to furry and she has some hairs on her back.
She does have a good shape though.
I am even thinking of getting a older sphynx that has been shown before instead of a kitten.

I'm sorry Cleo is acting up towards the judges, but it sounds like she did a good job. Maybe it's just a phase?
I wish you and Wrinkles luck with the upcoming show!

Thanks to both of you.
I do not know what has made her change.

Is she still being temperamental and acting up? I wonder what has changed? I wonder if one of the past judges manhandled her a little and now she associates the sights and sounds with a rough judge.

Its weird that she's started misbehaving. Hope you find a show quality girl soon.

Congrats on getting your best of breeds yesterday.

Thanks,
You know a judge did squeeze her at the Roseville show and she got mad.
That could be what started this.
She also was hurt by another cat in the cage next to her at the Hayward show.
She would hiss but nevertried to hurt a judge before that.
It just started at the last 2 shows.
She even swipes at me when I go t get her out of the cages in the ring.

It could be a combination of the judge and the other cat upsetting her and now she associates the shows with being stressed, which makes her stress. Then its a vicious circle.

Do you think keeping her away from shows for a few months might help. Hope she forgets and start with a small show and build up from there if she's happy too..

It is really hard to say.
My husband said he will call her breeder and see what he thinks about this.
Cleo is very friendly to all the people that pet her in the benching area.

Poor Cleo! She still did well.
Good luck in finding another. I have tossed up the idea of another female but not made up our mind yet 100%
I guess after we finish the cat room remodeling and A few other projects we want to do I will start looking.
