IBS and CBD?

Hi all,

My mom has her sphynxy Tinsley who has a really bad case of IBS. She can't eat anything without screaming in pain and then having diarrhea. This has been going on for several years and my mom has tried every suggestion under the sun with diets to try to help her, but nothing works.

I purchased some CBD tincture for her to try (20:1 CBD to THC for Pets - Sava). I have read that it works well for IBS in humans and also found this article: Cannabis 101: Cannabis for You Cat

I'm wondering if anyone else has tried CBD oils for their IBS kitties. Would love to hear stories!

Poor Tinsley needs help. She is so skinny that it is a miracle she is still alive. My mom is at her wits end trying to help her and doesn't want to change things up on her or have the vet do some invasive exploration.

I don't have experience with a CBD oils

I tried sooo many foods with my IBD Bengal cat like your mom did too
I finally found one that works for her after reading successful reviews of Fromm Game Bird recipe
amd IBD/IBS kitties- I kept her on Fromm game bird and no treats- fresh water changed twice a Day

A year now and she is doing great - just wasted to pass it on because I have been thru the food routine - they say to really know of a food works is a food trial for shout 12 weeks.
