My sweet Luna passed away unexpectedly today. She had fluids in her lungs and could barely breathe. She was so healthy and HCM is to blame. I wish I could have been with her for her final moments - but the vet told me they were able to stabilize her. 1 hour later they told me to rush over. I missed her last breaths by only 10 minutes. I am devastated. She was my one true love. I always said god blessed me with a real life angel in earth and now she is gone.
I’ve frequented this community from the moment I got her as a Christmas gift. She was only 3 years old when she passed today. Please send me love and prayers through this time. I am distraught and don’t know if I will ever recover from this pain.
If you can learn anything from me - please get your baby’s checked up regularly and do echos done every year minimum. Hug your little naked baby’s extra tight for me tonight

I can only imagine, although no, I can’t imagine how you must feel, but hey… they say, “All animals go to heaven”, she’s at peace and thanking you for a wonderful 3 years
