Well....meet Vincent! Not sure how, but today we brought Vinnie home completely unexpectedly. We were just going for a viewing, but the breeder practically begged us to take him today, instead of next week (when we have a week off work), and well, we couldn't say no... The place was not big and housed a (massive!) Great Dane bitch, and apparently 7 cats including Vinnie - it felt like a bit of a madhouse tbh. He's 6,5 months, not neutered yet, very sturdy and chunky and veeeery talkative, but not sure just how well socialised he's been.
He's a bit overwhelmed at the moment, and honestly, so are we!!! Some lair support and reassurance would not go amiss at this point The introduction with Butchie just sort of happened as Vinnie was allowed to explore, and all things considered, could not have gone better! Butchie is fascinated and enthralled with his new baby brother and will follow him around non-stop trying to play with him, which has lead to Vinnie getting overwhelmed and hissing at Butchie... we're keeping them separated just now and Vinnie is wrapped up in a blanket on my lap chilling. He had a bit to eat - breeder said he's a dustbin, so the opposite of his big brother in that respect. Wow, I'm in bits.... Please tell me it's all gonna be alright!
