It’s been a while! update..

Hey everyone! It’s been way too long, so I thought I would post some pics and give you a quick update.

My boys are now both about 1 year old. They both have such different personalities.. Bruce is a cuddler, very adventurous likes to nap in his window hammock in the sun. Logan is very vocal, LOVES his brother and always wants to be near him and all up in his business and he gets really worried when the food dish is empty in the middle .

I just love how different they are but they both are mama’s boys for sure.

Bruce is a tad tubby... the vet even said so. He is supposed to lose a pound or more. I bought a baby scale to keep track of his progess because it’s more accurate. I guess it’s kind of fitting since they are my only babies.

If anyone wants to chime in and let me know how much they feed their kitties to maintain their weight that might help me know where to go from here. He is getting 1/4 cup in AM and 1/4 in PM and is maintaining his current weight.

Glad to be back! Love seeing all the pics and hearing the stories in this community.

Welcome back. Happy to hear you're doing well. Bruce and Logan are handsome and cute.
Hope others chime in for weight management. My boy Toa is tad tubby too. I tried to let him lose weight but failed. Now I just try to make sure he doesn't gain any weight!

Personally I’m a fan of wet food. Among many other qualities, I find it allows them to get full on more volume with the same calories.

Hope you can stay active with us as time allows

Food - o free feed smaller portions - they empty the dry kibble twice a day
They share a 3 oz can of wet food in the morning - they won't eat the whole larger can.

My batman is the rounder so I really keep an eye on him being a little piggy

I do put a large water dish a few feet away from their kibble - oddly they drink it up better that way
