With deep sadness and devastated, but above all thankful for the love she gave me, I want to let you know my girl Jade passed away yesterday.
Jade (probably) had dementia. She went downhill so fast. It started about 8 months ago with pooping outside the litterbox and walking through the house nervously and meowing.
The last days she was so afraid of everything: me, Toa, Felfely, Pashmak, the walls just everything. Meowing, howling and hissing. And shivering from fear.
The vet couldn't do anything to help her so I decided to let her go.
She was so special to me. I got her when she was almost two after I fell in love with her photo.
She was indepedent and not into cuddling at first. But through the years she and I became so attached. She was the first to come running to the door when I came home. She came for cuddles now and then. Nose kisses were here specialties.
Oh how I miss her!

To do right by our babies with wings of peace and dignity the most heartfelt on the journey of selfless love I know too well. here for you. Jade one special girl who touched all our hearts, especially yours. your eternal love of Jade leaps off the page and with every post and pic shared with us. Remember the love, soo much love. I am so sorry to read this. We had a furry Cat that had dementia, so I can relate to your feelings of helplessness as she deteriorated. Jade was such a pretty girl, and you have lots of good memories of her. Give your other babies extra cuddles.

Forgive me for just seeing this. I know it’s a little bit of a left turn, but she was one of my favorite subjects to ever draw back when I was doing so. She was a gorgeous cat and a personality and I’m so sorry she’s gone but blessed to have gotten to know her a little through the screen.
