I recently about a baby boy he’s about 3-4 months old and I’m worried about his breathing this is my first sphynx he’s eating and very active and playful in the couple days I’ve had him. It just worry’s me that he scoffs and sneezes and at times I hear his breathing on realease that sounds a little heavy but I feel it’s only when he’s curious about something or exploring looking for some advice thanks

@Bluethesphnyx , checking in for updates, how is your boy today? welcome to the lair family. is his name Blue? any eye discharge? and if so is it clear or greenish color that can indicate an infection.

sharing some can have/ get a stress URI (upper respiratory infection) when newly homed.

I always recommend a wellness check with any new kitty. vet can rule out a URI and give antibiotics if needed.
I ask my vet to take a good listen to the heart for any murmurs as routine question.

please keep us updated. all paws are family. hugs n head smooches. love to see a photo of your sweet boy!
we are here for you.
here is a great thread we all refer to. never hesitate to ask questions.

**ps they can be sensitive to candles, plug ins fragrances, laundry detergent, fabric softener smells and or scented litter too.

Do you have a video or even a pic? Does he look unwell?

@Bluethesphnyx hugs n head smooches and positive vibes for his vet check. Good sign he is active eating good and looks healthy and no discharge. Sharing mine sneeze at times. And toby huffs like a little bull when he gets playing. They are all seniors now and no issues
