Kitten personality

hi ! I recently put a deposit on my sphynx kitten peaches, I'm so excited ! I was wondering what you can tell from a 8 week old kittens personality . She sat on my lap for a good amount of time when at the breeders house and the rest of the time she played relentlessly. The other kittens didn't play much and seemed a little more docile then her. Do sphynx kittens personalitys change much as they get older ? Is she going to be a crazy kitty? :bored::cat:

She, will be more, into, her personality, when, she, get's a
little older. Are you getting her at 16 weeks?
Anyway, you will, even, see a difference then.
It's hard to say, how, they, will be, when, they, age.
Their, all, so different. Some, are, more energentic, than, others.
Some, are more layed back.

They will change as they get older, they tend to slow down a bit, welcome by the way!

Welcome to Sphynxlair. Sounds like your first meeting with your baby went well. So hard to tell from one meeting what they are going to be like. Kittens eat sleep and play and during these developmental stages and it can vary daily. We got our kitten in December, I promised myself to treasure kitten-hood. It comes and goes in a blink of an eye.

Thank you ! Yes we will be getting her 14-16 weeks depending on how things go but the breeder says shes doing really good so maybe 14

Right? I wish i could visit her more durring these stages but she lives 3.5 hours out

Your girl is still learning a lot from her catmommy and her personality can change. So maybe you get a relaxed kitten and maybe a crazy speedy gonzales. But no matter what, you'll love her

Yes it is i just fell in love with her when I saw her.. so much smaller then expected (looks bigger in photo)

Congrats on Peaches. It is really hard to say exactly what her personality will be like, but I am fairly certain that if she liked sitting with you that probably wont change, especially if she is well socialized which it sounds like she is.

Yes she did very well with the breeders other cats

Congratulations. I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but Sphynx can be quite high-energy for a long time! And they want to play play play! LOL

But seriously, personality does change over time, and once Peaches is living with you, you have the ability to shape her personality as well for months to come. It sounds like she is being well socialized and I think is going to be a great companion for you.

But definitely stock up on toys. I think no matter how old they are, Sphynx just love to play.

No problem! we give our cats a bunch of play time already and we even got a cat wheel recently
