Latest Flare Update

The vet called with the results of Flare's Protein Electrophoresis. He said that most likely she does not have cancer, because if she had cancer she would be deteriorating quickly. The results showed severe inflammation from her stomatitis, gingivitis, and URI. She has her oral surgery Friday morning. Most likely they will have to extract all of her teeth. Once her teeth are removed, her mouth is cleaned out, and if she takes her antibiotics for awhile all the "itits'" and the infections should go away.

This is just incomprehensible to me...she obviously has been suffering for a VERY long time, to have to remove all her teeth...you should file a complaint against this breeder if she doesn't come forth with an explanation or some financial help. This is dispicable!

My heart just breaks knowing that Flare has been suffering like this for a long time. I feel good that once her infected teeth and gums clear out that she will be done with this chronic infection and she will love you for the rest of her life for resucing and making her feel better.
