Litter Robots

Have you heard of a cat who poops in one litter box and pee in another?
I rescued two cats who came with two litter robots. When they came, I put a litter box of Pretty Litter next to the robots because I'm new to them. It's been a month. They pee in the robots and poop in the litter box. My other Sphynx uses Pretty Litter in two different litter boxes.
I'm hoping to cut down at least one litter box.
Just wondering if this is a thing. I'm trying to get my OG to use the robot.

pee'd in dr elseys unscented litter in a large covered box and pooped in open no cover litter box with yesterdays news pellets unscented that she came with when I got her

surely members will chime in.

Some are just finicky unfortunately. I wish there was an easy fix…but better off with 2 boxes than improper elimination issues. Also, most recommended one more litter box than the number of cats so the robot is a plus since it cleans on its own.

Even better because it's a new gadget so my husband tends to it. He insisted.

You have the right attitude! We had one and unfortunately 2 cats we had at the time LOVED to jump on the dome and it would make it not cycle (older version) and I was not about to spend more money for a then wooden enclosure to prevent it. I hope you love yours…keep us updated….oh and also you can look at the this litter

You might try adding it to your existing litter in hopes it works. I believe in the brand. Have used kitten attracyt for years when we have added to our family.

Great Brand! Ive used this for my 5 month old from the start!
