Hi there,

I’m looking for a furless best friend, and I’m located in Vermont. I’m willing to travel to boarding states and possibly further for the right fit. I am a 27-year-old with one other (furry) kitty. She is a 5-year-old shy-sweetheart who is neutered and loves other felines. She’s not a fan of dogs, so therefore we are a dog-free home. It seems her personality comes out more when she has a friend. After the passing of our elderly male cat, I haven’t been ready to take on another soul. But after three years, I think it’s time.

I work from home, so I will be able to give love and attention on a regular basis. I would really like to give a sphynx a forever home. I am not particular about any specific gender or color. As long as they love cuddles (occasionally) and pets. My only requirement is that they are not FIV+. (This is due to my current cat.)

I know rehoming is not an easy task. Finding the right fit is essential. I am also very communicative, and if the owner would like regular updates or visits, I’m totally open to this! I would want the same if I were in a similar situation.

If you would like more information my email is [email protected]

@Venice5 , welcome to the lair family. all paws are family, love to see pic/name of your furbaby girl. my heartfelt condolences for the loss of you boy. I truly believe they send us the one to love like they knew in this world. stay active with us. several of us have adopted from members. I have all adoptees.
be sure to read the fraud tips link. was helpful when I was looking at ads outside sphynxlair. do not hesitate to pm me any ads you are looking at for an extra peek for red flags. sharing, an option too I discovered when looking to adopt is to adopt a retiree from a reputable breeder. I adopted a wonderful 2 yr old retiree from a reputable breeder who regularly HCM scans, is Felv negative cattery, tica registered. my girl just turned 13.

I always try to help hearts align. jump in and enjoy this fun friendly bunch.

a great link to sphynx life:

hugs n head smooches to your furbaby. all paws crossed the sphynx stars align.

ps: will edit your title of post to add your location for attention

Thank you Yoda Mom! This gives me hope that the stars will align at some point.

I am not in a huge rush and will check back for updates. I’m so glad you were able to find your sphynx! I’ve been reading old forums and seeing so many happy endings. I just love it.

This is my girl Bina! She was born in New York and came from a feral litter. All the kittens were very sick. She ended up being the only survivor. She has some breathing problems that stem from not seeing a vet until she made her way to me. But overall she’s healthy and happy. Because of this I’ve developed a great relationship with our local vet.

(She’s yawning in the second picture). She loves to play and enjoys belly rubs. She’s also quite fluffy and I think adding the opposite sibling would make a perfect YingYang duo.

@Venice5 , melt my heart! Bina is gorgeous and struck gold in your heart and home. definitely a warrior princess. so sorry about her siblings, when I lived in NY I took in a black cat that needed a home. Ebony moved with me across the country! she was amazing. I am sure you share that special bond too as seen with the love in every photo!. love the photos! such personality! yes, ying and yang, my nakids think my aussie dogs are like a living heated blankie.

wiill keep an eye out for you too and tag you. I adopted 4 sphynx all within a few months. all paws crossed the sphynx stars align for you and Bina, hugs n head smooches, definitely check out the links I shared.
the right one will find you!
