Hi all!! I have come to the very hard decision of having to rehome my Sphynx kitten. His name is Fang and he is a little over a year old. He has no known health conditions and is up to date on all of his shots and has been neutered. He is great with all humans including children. He sleeps with my 8 year old son every night and is the biggest lover. It has been a hard decision for everyone in the house but he does not get along with our two older cats at all. We have tried many different options to get them all to play nice but they end up scratching all over each other and fighting all day long. The stress has caused my older cat to start hiding now which he never did before. My older cat has health conditions already and I don’t want him to have this added stress from the kitten. I think he would just have a better life at a home where he is the only cat. Ive never seen him around dogs so I don’t know how that would be for him. Rehoming fee of $250.

So sorry u have to go through this hard decision. I agree u will have no issues having to rehome him. Maybe u can provide more info on who’s scratching who to determine who doesn’t prefer company. Are the two older cats sphynxes too?

One is an older male Sphynx and the other is an older male long haired cat. It used to be that the kitten definitely initiated the fights by trying to play with them but the two older boys would swat at him. I think that it goes both ways now to be honest. I think they don't like him and now he doesn’t like them.

I sent you a private message. I would love to adopts such an affectionate cat. I'm well versed in both dogs and cats with behavioral issues and I would love to be of help to any animal that might need special care and attention above and beyond the typical. I do the same with patients, but for my animals, it's true heaven for me to see them happy and playful. May no animal want for anything other than extra scratches and treats.

I have been looking to adopt a Sphynx for quite awhile and would love to talk more about giving him a loving home. He would be the only cat and spoiled rotten.

Thank you for letting all of us know as he was wanted by many in the group. I admire you for the work involved in finding him the most suitable match. May he be sleeping well tonight with his new caregiver. I will stay in the market for a sphynx that needs a loving home...but there are more of us than them. In the meantime, keep me posted with pictures of sphynx cats...and yes, it has to be a sphynx--no other cat will do.
