Looking for a Sphynx to love

I have been looking to adopt a Sphynx of my own for 2 years now. I would rather adopt one that needs a home or is "retired" than get a kitten financially I think it would be a better fit.
I found this forum and thought maybe someone could help. I'd love to have one of these little cuties to love. I'd like a girl but I would take anyone in need of a good home.

Can anyone help? I'm from the Philadelphia area
Thanks in advance!

It might be worth it to you to join the Sphynx Rescue Group on yahoo groups - you never know when one might come up. Goodluck in your search.

Hi Rebecca,

I know there are breeders in PA and NJ but as I don't know them personally, I can't recommend one over the other. You might want to search for websites, compose a letter of introduction and start chatting with a few. Who knows, something just might click and they will keep you in mind if they have a young retiree to place...or have a friend that does. If they are local, you might even be able to meet them in person at a show.

Good luck in your search!

I think Susan's idea is great...I will PM you with a couple of the breeder lists by state sites that I have used in the past.

Great Idea Susan...
