Looking for Food Recommendations for USA for my Sphynx with Sensitive Stomach and Constipation

Hello everyone. My name is Amy and I am a newby (1 year- Sphynx mom). My Kozmo has food issues and had a very recent experience with being completely plugged up. Two rounds of fluid and help emptying his blockage, and a lot of money spent at the vet. Our vet wants to change his diet to a medically prescribed food with a higher fiber content.

Has anyone else had this experience, and what food do you feed your Sphynx babies? I am in the United States. Thank you so much.

Hi Amy! Welcome

What food are they recommending? Most people have the opposite problem with sensitive stomach issues the dreaded diarrhea or soft poo. What food is Kokomo currently eating? With constipation you can always add some plain canned pumpkin to his food. Just be sure it’s not seasoned and start with a spoonful. Pumpkin is kind of a miracle fruit and easy to digest.
