Not sure at all for the USA since I'm far away in the UK, but perhaps you could start with breeders on the TICA website? And then check their individual pages, sites, reviews about them, and so on.
Do stay away of 'spontaneous' messages on Facebook, Insta etc, such as people DMing out of the blue, or dropping a post in a thread to advertise their kittens. More than often, those are scammy, the cats aren't well treated, or possibly even stolen... Proper breeders don't sidle in people's DMs just like that, at least not in my experience.
