Hi everyone! I am looking to adopt a sphynx cat or kitten. I don't have any preferences other then that they are fixed. I have been looking for a sphynx for a few months now, but haven't had much luck because they either lived too far or cost too much. My son has allergies and I break out whenever an animal gets flees, which is why I don't want to risk it and get a haired cat. Plus the breed is adorable. I live in WV and will be willing to drive up to 3-4 hours to pick him/her up. I have a 6 month old, so they would have to be friendly around kids. We promise to love and give him or her lots of attention and care. Awaiting to here from someone. Thank you!

If you want a can't you are not allergic to a sphynx is not your answer. I am drastically more allergic to my bald baby than I am To my Nebelung (long haired). So much so that I had to go to an allergic specialist when I got him because otc medicines wouldn't work for me.

Before you adopt a sphynx ask a breeder if you can spend some time with their cats. You can see how your allergies are affected. Some people say sphynx don't bother their allergies while some day they do.

Keep watching here on the rescue forum. There is usually some placed there.
Also, you need to check with breeders and see if they have retired one's
that is ready to be rehomed.
They are usually still young. Best Wishes.
