My partner and I adopted a 4 year old sphynx kitty about a year ago, and she has totally stolen our hearts. We are now looking for a friend for her! Although she gets a lot of love when we are home, we do work longish days, and we're worried that she's getting a little lonely (especially since she came from a home with multiple animals).

Does anyone know of a place to adopt/re-home from? Suggestions on where to look? Any tips would be helpful- we would love to share our love with another naked kitty!

We are willing to travel pretty much anywhere on the East Coast, although we are based in the Northern VA area.

Be sure to read the fraud thread and the responsible breeder thread

You can also check for responsible breeders who may have an upcoming retiree / wait list .
I adopted a cuddly , healthy ,HCM scanned fully vetted and papered young retiree .
I never knew it was an option so wanted to share . The breeder spayed her and kept her a few weeks till she healed and her hormones settled .

They were very helpful when I adopted

If you ever need to rehome her since they don’t do well being home alone a lot. Please let me know. I’m home all the time, work at an animal hosptial so my kitty goes to work with me, I get freee health care etc. I have a home in VA and Chicago.
I hope you’re able to find a buddy and I hope it will help her a bit. They get super depressed when alone.
Good luck!!!
