Looking to adopt in Los Angeles!

Hello! I am looking for a Sphynx to adopt in Los Angeles! I can get to pretty much all of Southern California. My family lives in New Jersey, so I’d also be able to adopt from around the east coast/ tristate area as well! I’ve been living with a very friendly male Sphynx cat that’s about a year old (rescued by my roommate) and I am very interested in adopting one for myself as he’s moving out soon! Thank you! I am willing to be super patient in getting my first kitten and am really enjoying the friendliness of the Sphynx breed (I know each cat is unique but they are quite snuggly and playful) but want to make sure I’m rescuing or helping rehome one rather than accidentally supporting a breeder! Please let me know if you have any leads!!

Definitely keep an eye out here and at your local rescues. Also, many have purchased from a breeder and I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing. The beauty in purchasing is you can really do your research and find a breeder whose kittens are less likely to have congenital issues such as HCM.
