This is Stellatron, and I’ve noticed this small bump come up on him. I’ve read online that it may be a few things but I’m concerned it might be serious. He had his injections done two weeks ago and is due to have the next one done next weekend.
Has anyone else come across this before or know what this is? I would greatly appreciate any help/insight.
It could possibly be a lymph node. You might discuss with your vet before next round of shots to be safe...as they might be fighting off something since last rounds of vaccines.
Depends, but if it's firm and you can move it around under the skin (so not attached to the skin), it could be a cancerous growth. Non-cancerous fat deposits are usually softer. If it's attached to the skin, might be some sort of cyst - these may come and go - usually not problematic unless they rupture. Either way, vet should diagnose.
