Hi everyone. Please be gentle, I am a complete mess over this. My neutered male sphynx was outside in the garden with me (a safe area) on Sunday afternoon and he disappeared. He is used to his area and often visits my neighbours on both sides and likes their dogs.
He has completely vanished and I have put up posters everywhere, offering a reward, and social media posts.
I am beside myself with worry. He is the most loving boy. Chipped and neutered.

@Jessicarrgh , oh my heart hurts for you. I am praying he is home soon! what is his name? all paws are family.
you can put his litterbox outside and a piece of your clothing. You can ask the animal shelter or animal control to borrow a cat trap and use a can of cat food. call local shelters/visit and share the photo of your baby as well as local vet offices.
ask neighbors to check their garages,check local non fb media sites too

** be sure to call the microchip company directly.. confirm they have your correct name and contact information. ( I found a typo in my records in the past).

I am so sorry to see this. Great ideas have been given. You can also empty your vacuum cleaner bag of its contents so they can smell it…their strongest sense is smell so,it might lure him out.

@Jessicarrgh , staying positive here for you and Bubbles. definitely put out his litter box, clothing ,etc. *** call the microchip company and make sure they have your correct contact information address and phone numbers.

do you have an outside cameras? I got mine here in the US inexpensive and no need to sign up for subscription . I bought the wyze v3 cameras online. you plug in, enter your router password, scan QR code to activate. I placed mine inside my windows looking out and they work fine, no subsciption necessary even though they prompt you to do so. been using them for years no charge. not sure if they are online or at local stores in your area. about $35 us dollars. a cat trap may help too. they sell at local hardware stores, easy to set, just put in a can of cat food, raise bar to hold door open

Hi, thanks so much for the tips. I am trying to follow all of them and have updated the ad with his microchip, thanks for noticing that. I have posted him on nextdoor and lots of Facebook groups too. I just hope so much he hasn’t had a run in with the many foxes around here or been stolen. Thank you for your support I appreciate it so much in this difficult time. ❤️

Hi everyone. My baby is still gone with no sightings at all. I paid for a pet search company who came up with nothing, and assume he was grabbed and stolen.
I don’t think there is much hope of finding him or him being returned now. The police were not interested as no evidence.
I am totally totally heartbroken, I can barely leave my house.

sharing a positive, yrs ago I was able to reunite an oriental shorthair to his mum after some time her girl was missing (an ex meanly let her out of the house) I went thru on line ads and found her. keeping all paws in prayer for you and Bubbles. check "for sale", lost, found ads using different ways of spelling sphynx, sphinx, hairless just in case someone may have taken him and decides to sell. I am hoping he is still in the area and will come home. did you get a cat trap? still leave out a litter box and article of your clothing.

my heart hurts for you the police were not supportive. I know our babies are our children. make sure local shelters and vets are aware he is missing in case someone turns him in. I know you are doing everything for your baby. please remember self care too during this most heartfelt time.
prayers here for you and Bubbles. I will continue to search online ads too from my end. checking pets4homes etc.
I am seeing you have done a great job posting him on various sites networking. let's hope someone finds Bubbles. you are going above and beyond with all your heart I know even with hiring a pet search company.


be sure to monitor your local nextdoor site too. do you have a local craigslist or fb marketplace to monitor for ads?
I saw your post in the fb missing cats group. I like the idea mentioned to ask neighbors to check their cameras for sightings
