Missing the Lair

Hi Everyone!

I have been a bit MIA lately. We just upgraded or system at work and go live was last Sunday. It has been a disaster and I have been putting in no less than 12-14 hours a day at least 6 days a week - trying to troubleshoot, fix issues and support day to day business which right now does not leave much time for anything else. I am just exhausted and burnt out as these hours have been going on like this for about three weeks.

I really miss the Lair and feel like I am so disconnected from what is going on with everyone and their kitties! I really hope things get back to normal soon so I have more spare time. Well, that is until our next project which goes live in January. Meh.

I wonder if I can ask for days off to catch up on Sphynx Lair activity???

Tell them you're taking a Mental Health Day off. I told my boss that once and he said "You don't get days off for mental health." I laughed and said "I do now!" Then I took the day off.
