I have a problem! (I'm joking)
I get up, go downstairs, make coffee (if I'm allowed...) and sit down to check my messages.
I'd like to take a shower. I'd like to get the laundry on. I'd like to get the litter boxes done. I'd like to sweep the floors.
Etc.
But I have a Jezzy.
The Jezzy needs cuddles.
At least 30 minutes, longer if possible.
If there are interruptions to those 30 minutes, we need to start over, because then it doesn't count.
*sigh*
For a cat who, for the first almost 2 years that I've had her, would not schmooze, cuddle or even give me any attention... she has turned into the Uber-snuggler.
She's the one who insists that she needs to wash any available bit of skin. Whether that's my fingers (on the keyboard or otherwise), my arm, my face, my ears, my... you get the idea.
Pixie cuddles. She cuddles hard. But it's Jezzy who, every morning, without fail, has to have her 30 minutes of solid cuddles. Any less, and we start over, at a time convenient to Jezzy. (Note - not me.)
I was doing the school run for a company, for 2 months. That meant I was out of the door latest 6:20am.
This disrupted Jezzy's morning routine, and she was NOT happy. It meant the second I got back, it was double time. At LEAST. Seeing as I failed in my cuddle duties, there had to be consequences.
....what a problem to have, hm?
(I just got up to refill my coffee. How DARE I? That's at least an additional 10 minutes.)
