Our Leo gets random scratches here and there, I believe its just from scratching, are you clipping his nails frequently? Once a week is recommended.View attachment 67746 View attachment 67747 My poor baby. It seems like she is always fighting something. When I was giving her a bath I noticed she had a bunch of raw open wounds on her head and on her neck. Moreover she has a load of raised bumps on her body. I'm freaked out and not sure what it could be. I plan on calling the vet tomorrow but I'm wondering if any of you can help me figure out what it is?
She just has the bumps around her face and neck. I honestly didn't even notice the cuts until I gave her a bath. I had her on EVO and then I had to switch her to blue buffalo when we ran out of EVO before we could get more so maybe it's that. I don't really have a good "gut instinct" on these sort of things because I am a hypochondriac when it comes to her haha the delicacy of the breed makes me always want to rush to the vet. I was just a little shocked to see so many open wounds. She hasn't lost any energy though she is still running around the house destroying everything@newsphynxmommy , can you add more pics ? Like to see more of the second one
Does she those have faint red bumps elsewhere?
Those would not be from play imho
Esecially since you mentioned she has "a load of raised bumps everywhere"
Do they get worse after a Bath? Shampoo using? Litter ?
We can brain storm here but always best to check with vet since you said she has a load of raised bumps and try to rule out allergies
