My poor baby. It seems like she is always fighting something. When I was giving her a bath I noticed she had a bunch of raw open wounds on her head and on her neck. Moreover she has a load of raised bumps on her body. I'm freaked out and not sure what it could be. I plan on calling the vet tomorrow but I'm wondering if any of you can help me figure out what it is?

He scabs and cuts are from her scratching them... which means they are probably itchy. Most likely she is allergic to something, the question is what? Don't forget that they can have food allergies too, it can be rough to narrow it down.

Our Leo gets random scratches here and there, I believe its just from scratching, are you clipping his nails frequently? Once a week is recommended. :)

@newsphynxmommy , Mine rough and tumble and then nap together - they get play nicks once in a while in the usual same spot neck , front chest , or side of face . I spray a little Vetericyn VF spray or gel ( non toxic) omto a cotton round , dab areas , and clears in a day or two

You know your kitties best - it's always best for peace of mind to give your vet a call and see what they suggest -

If you see them rough and tumble and then that some fresh nicks that is one thing -
As mentioned , it can be indications of an allergy too and those You want to get under control sooner than later -

Any nicks or bumps under belly etc?
Any change in litter or food?

We all are on skin patrol I swear with these nakeds - sometimes a nick is just a nick - other times an allergy

Rough house minor nicks clear up soon here anything else I would want the vet to rule out allergy

I just checked mine to try to send you a pic of play nicks we get from time to time by front of ears or neck but all clear at this time -

Is she itching?

@newsphynxmommy , can you add more pics ? Like to see more of the second one
Does she those have faint red bumps elsewhere?

Those would not be from play imho
Esecially since you mentioned she has "a load of raised bumps everywhere"

Do they get worse after a Bath? Shampoo using? Litter ?

We can brain storm here but always best to check with vet since you said she has a load of raised bumps and try to rule out allergies

She just has the bumps around her face and neck. I honestly didn't even notice the cuts until I gave her a bath. I had her on EVO and then I had to switch her to blue buffalo when we ran out of EVO before we could get more so maybe it's that. I don't really have a good "gut instinct" on these sort of things because I am a hypochondriac when it comes to her haha the delicacy of the breed makes me always want to rush to the vet. I was just a little shocked to see so many open wounds. She hasn't lost any energy though she is still running around the house destroying everything

Awh... It could be a combination -

Hope you can post some more pics?

Can you exchange the food back to her Evo?
Did she have "a load of bumps all over her body " on Evo?

I get all my stuff at chewy.com
If any product doesn't work - call amd they make it right

My girl did not do good on Blue - each kitty is different
Mine are like ninja monkeys around here too
I have to tell them "stop that" as they gang up to knock over my coffee mug, pictures , etc
I have to kitty proof constantly :)
We do get some good nicks once in a while but they don't look like raised bumps all over body-
I really like having Vetericyn VF spray and Vetericyn VF hydrogel (thicker)
on hand for scrappy doo play nicks or any skin stuff with my crew
I get thr VF formula (veterinary formula )that is available now online various sizes and prices with promo codes too

Vetericyn VF Wound and Infection Treatment for Dogs and Cats

And the Vetericyn VF hydro gel
Vetericyn VF HydroGel Spray: Wound and Infection Treatment | 16oz Bottle

They make a regular original Vetericyn spray too but the VF formula supposedly stronger

You do have "gut instinct " bcz you are asking :)

Let us know if you called the vet and their suggestions of what to do and products okay to use
