My Mick is gone

He wasn’t a Sphynx, but we had him for 13 years and the vet thought he was about 6 when we adopted him from the shelter. He was definitely an old man. We had plans to take Christmas pictures of our pets this year, but didn’t get the chance. I’ve not been well so a lot of things have been a struggle. My daughter asked if my son could bring his Santa suit over to get some pictures with Mick. He and one of his friends DID! They really did! Do I have the best kids, or what? So, Merry Christmas, old guy. Now you can celebrate all year long with all our other much loved, much missed, fur babies.

I am so very sorry handsome Mick got his angel wings after a life of love beyond measure. He only knew your love, and that is everything

. I got teary eyed reading about the santa suit. such wonderful children. such a heartfelt precious photo of Mick. May he run free at the bridge with our babies sharing stories of all the love known in this world. you are not alone, here for you. I share in the immeasurable hurt. Thank you all for your love across the miles. I’m working on some diamond paintings and cross stitches of my fur baby in a couple of apps I ran across. They’re looking so nice so far. And Lily, our reclusive Siamese mix has actually come out to play with Brendan, our black kitty boy, something we haven’t seen her do in a few years. I firmly believe that Mick has joined the other fur babies who are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge and miracles do happen. Life can be good, even through hard times.

Thank you! My husband said the vet was really awesome as was the rest of the staff there. This wasn’t our usual vet, but I think we may be changing vets. We were able to bury my old man in our courtyard and we’re considering what we can plant there. For now, my husband and daughter found an awesome steppingstone at Hobby Lobby and we have that placed out there. I’m really enjoying these two apps I found. I think I’ll be using them quite often as I get myself back into scrapbooking.
These are the cross stitch and diamond painting I’ve done of Mick. I’ve decided to do the picture of him with “Santa” as well.
