Hi,
My name il Luca, Im a 21 yo Italian living in Germany at the moment,
i ve been passionated about sphynx cat my entire life but never had the chance to see one before... Till one day, i found a video on youtube of someone living near by me , giving away newborn sphynx(3 months) and between all of them (5) i chose this little monster. His name is Jack... Handsome Jack (name of a videogame character from Borderlands 2) . Him and his brother both had eye problem, his brother unfortunatly (or not) didn't find a new home because too sick so they kept him, instead jack since i got him, i noticed a grey shade on is eye (nothing special said the vet...) and it came out to be a problem like his brother, but before we could do anythig he got biten by a dog in my house and lost that eye! ;( Now he is doing fine eating like always and running all around the place looking for fun and cuddle.

Welcomes to the Lair. One-eyed Handsome Jack is such a sweetie. I do hope his worse days are behind him now.

I also hope that the dog that attacked him is no longer a threat. Many of us here have dogs who live harmoniously with our sphynxies! I myself am a big dog-lover... We have a 65 lb pit/boxer mix and a 4 lb yorkie. Our sphynx, Kenzo, fits right in the pack. @Yoda mom has Rottweilers, and others have pitbulls. If you need advice on introducing your sphynx to other animals in the home, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Socialization will be very important for Jack now that he’s experienced trauma, unless he’s going to be an only child. I don’t mean to preach, I just hate to hear that he was harmed so severely by a doggo.

@ThousandCactus Welcoming you and Jack to the lair family !

Look forward to lots of pics and tales! Very handsome adorable boy.
a recent photo or or healed up Now?

Is the dog still in the home ? If so , do you keep separated , Crated ?

(For anyone using wire crates:

If you use a crate be sure to put a small caribiner or lock on the bottom door corner , cabiners on the latches and cable tie all sides together. I also put Two interlocking gym mats and folded under the crate tray -
Without padding under the tray - lean in and you feel the wiring under the crate plastic tray!

Many years ago I adopted a "Houdini dog ". On day 2 he was in his 54" crate. I went to the food store and was shocked when I got home to find
He actually pushed out from the corner of the crate door.
He was sound asleep on the floor when I came home - the crate door was still closed and latched ).

What is Jacks favorite toy? His silliest thing that makes you laugh ?
Head smooches sent he is adorable
