Mycoplasma/Veraflox Use

Hi guys-
My 4.5 month old sphynx was diagnosed with both mycoplasma felis and chlamydia. I was prescribed amoxicillin x 14 days for chlamydia and Veraflox x10 days for mycoplasma. Is 10 days standard for treatment? I feel it’s not long enough. All I ever see in my Facebook groups is talk of doxycycline used for 4+ weeks with mycoplasma. Any insight would help. Pic for fun

What a cutie! I have honestly only heard of Doxy being used especially with chlamydia to finally kick it. We have seen many have others not work and then go to Doxy. I do know some vets are not fans of Doxy in pill form though. It has been linked to esophagus issues if pill gets lodged so it is best to get compounded liquid form.

With Jezzy absolutely nothing worked, including Doxy. :/
She still has it, and it flares up regularly.
