Hi, I have been feeding my cat Natural Instinct pure chicken raw meat and would like some advice on it and your experiences with Natural Instinct or Raw meat in general, please. I don't know if that alone is nutritional enough or has enough fibre for my cat and if not, what do I need to add to it or into his diet to make it more nutritional ?? I did email the Natural Instinct company and ask them if it has everything that a cat needs in it and they seem to think it does, and nothing else should be added into it or his diet. I do have the Natural Instinct pure beef one as well, which do you think is better ?? Pure beef or pure chicken. And does anybody feed their cats' cooked meat ?? And what is the difference between cooked or raw meat ?? And do they pose the same dangers ?? Please do give your advice and let me know your experiences with feeding your cats cooked or raw meat! And which brands would you suggest? And is homemade raw food better than commercially raw food ?? As I've seen stuff online about commercially raw food and that it's better to make it at home so you know what you are putting into it. Thank you!

Great and important questions. Wish I could answers them but don't know the brand. Commercial raw sound have all a cat need. At least here it has.
I'll add a link to a raw food thread. Hope that helps you

I started feeding Nature's Variety Instinct to my baby kitten. I worry about this same thing too. I feel like I feed him so much food. I'm going through a bag every 6 days, and the kitten isn't even 2 pounds yet!

Your baby kitten looks so lovely! When my naked baby was younger, he'd eat a lot and I just fed him amounts he seemed to take. I would just feed your baby kitten as much they can manage to eat until a certain age as they are growing. As long as they aren't puking or having any strange symptoms. I wouldn't worry as much and let your baby kitten guide you. There's lots of useful information on this site and online in general. You could also email the Nature's Variety Instinct company and ask them as many questions as you like to make yourself feel better. That's what I did and I got lots of information off them. Good luck!
