Hello Lair! Tansy and Merlin are doing great... they are both about 9 pounds now and really getting situated to their home/humans.

I have a quick question- if I plan on taking them out for walks on leashes, do I need to first take them to the vet for their outdoor vaccines? I also want to introduce them to my sister-in-law's friendly dog so they can get used to other pets.

They already have their indoor vaccines. Would outdoor vaccines be a good idea? (I tried looking up "vaccines" here but all the posts were about something else)

I don’t think vaccines are a good idea in general and are rather pointless for a cat staying indoors all its life and never being exposed to contagions.

BUT...

If you are taking your kitty out and potentially exposing them to other animals that could be ill, I absolutely think you should make sure you have all vaccines given.

Mine gets all of hers because she leaves the house with me all the time.

Yes many breeders void contracts if you get the
FIP or FeLV vaccines.
